  1. What is the difference between smooth face and waffle face? 

The smooth face Stewart hammer doesn’t leave a mark on the surface.  The waffle face grips the nail more effectively, however it leaves a mark on the surface.

  1. What is the most common size of hammer purchased?

The 20 oz. smooth face hammer is the most commonly used hammer.

  1. What is the size or weight difference?
The heavier the hammer, the less of a swing a person needs to make.  However, some people don’t like to swing a heavy hammer.
